Make the everyday
just a little special.

On a quiet street in Kawaramachi, Takamatsu, ASAHIYA offers a refined moment where wine and cuisine meet. Seasonal ingredients from across Kagawa, plated with a chef’s sensibility. Alongside them are wines selected from around the world. We cherish the gentle afterglow that lingers—pairing each plate and each glass with care.

For one,
for a few,
for banquets,
for anniversaries.

We discovered the old ryokan “Asahiya,” said to be over 50 years old, in March 2004. On June 1, 2004, we reopened it as ASAHIYA in a new form. We hope you’ll relax and enjoy our food and wine while feeling both nostalgia and the seasons in the air.

About the space

At ASAHIYA, our sommelier proposes the “best glass” for each course. Food and wine elevate one another, creating an afterglow that exists only in that moment. Whether for business dinners, anniversaries, a quiet meal with someone dear, or a solo evening with a glass in hand—we hope to be a place that gently enriches your everyday.
